Drew and Sam recap the Yale game, discuss what they liked, didn’t like, and what they would like to see moving forward as the Boilermakers face the Crimson Tide on Friday.
Welcome back to Boiler Up Down South. I’ve made a few changes to our podcast lineup and brought in a ringer to talk about Boilermaker Hoops on a regular basis. Sam Bourne joins me today and will be a regular on the podcast moving forward. Long story short, I’ve been following Sam’s film breakdowns on whatever you call twitter these days and asked him if he’d like to join me. He accepted and now I can provide y’all with some analysis that exceeds my current level of expertise.
The cool thing about doing this podcast with Sam is I come away with a little piece of new basketball knowledge every time we get together. I’m #creatingcontent and learning something at the same time.
That’s the type of multi-tasking I can get behind!
On today’s episode we cover the Yale game. Sam talks about what he liked from the game last night, and some potential adjustments moving forward. We use the last 10 minutes to give a brief overview of the impending Alabama game.
One note: I plug Sam’s twitter at the start of the episode but give a slightly wrong handle. You can find him at sambourne04 on twitter (no underscore, which was the mistake in the podcast). Sam was at the game last night, and is working on new stuff today, but I wanted to embed one of his older breakdowns to entice y’all to check him out (if you click on the tweet, it should take you to the thread where he breaks down multiple clips from the game).
Let’s breakdown Purdue’s 72-50 win over Northern Kentucky. Including the arrival of Caleb Furst and Camden Hiede!#Purdue #Basketball
