He was named to this All-American Team with some of College Basketball’s best players, including Johni Broome, Walter Clayton Jr, Cooper Flagg, Kam Jones, Ryan Kalkbrenner, Chaz Lanier, Mark Sears, LJ Cryer, and John Tonje.
This will be the third year in a row that a Purdue player has been represented at the Wood Awards, as Zach Edey made the trip both his Junior and Senior seasons at Purdue.
At the award ceremony, he and four other outstanding basketball players will be recognized. Braden will join Cooper Flag, Mark Sears, Johni Broome and Walter Clayton Jr., when the Wooden Award winner is announced.
Zach Edey won both of the years that he represented Purdue there, as well, side by side by arguably the best Women’s College Player of all-time, Caitlin Clark.
This is another accolade for an already illustrious career at Purdue, where Braden has the opportunity next season to break the NCAA All-Time Assist record.
Congratulations and best of luck, Braden!
