I mean it was not a fun game to watch,
23 to 13
The total number of Purdue fouls compared to Michigan fouls Tuesday Night. Purdue saw both Caleb Furst and TKR foul out with a lot of time left on the clock in the 2nd half. Furst was mugged at the rim but was called for his 5th foul by poking the softest Russian Basketball player on the planet in the eye on accident (no travel was called for he falling to the ground with the ball).
Michigan reached six fouls rather quickly in both halves and just stayed put there, while TKR was getting shoved with two hands in the back all night long.
Michigan would shoot 18 more free throws and only win by two.
You do the math.
24
Braden Smith’s total points scored on Tuesday Night, once again leading the Boilermakers in the category. Renn, while limited with fouls, still scored 22 against the bash brothers of Goldin and Wolf.
Smith would add six rebounds and five assists to his stat line as well and darn near single-handedly win the game for Purdue. I thought the last-second shot was in.

The amount of points scored from the Purdue Bench. Burgess, Colvin, Heide and Harris played a combined 41 minutes and scored 0 points. Colvin did snag 5 rebounds and had two assists as well, but for Purdue to be successful come tourney time, they will need some bench production.
Purdue will host Wisconsin Saturday Afternoon.
