A Sunday Matinee led to a beatdown in Mackey Arena.

The number of assists away that Braden Smith is from owning the Purdue All-Time Record. Bruce Parkinson has the Purdue All-Time Record with 690 assists. Smith is closing in with 602 assists currently.
Braden has 28 assists over his last two games, there is no doubt in my mind that he will break this record by the end of the season. He even has a shot at breaking the All-Time NCAA record by the time he graduates in 2026.

A new career high for Cecil Joseph Cox, who started the game 8 for 8. When he is on he is on, Purdue saw him catch fire early in the season against Alabama, and you can tell the underrecruited guard has a giant chip on his shoulder.
Another Gem found by Coach Matt Painter.

Five games in a row in which Purdue has won by at least 18 points or more, including four straight games in the Big Ten. Purdue will try and extend this streak when they travel to Washington on Wednesday and then to ranked Oregon this weekend for their west coast trip.

The number of reverse Alley-Oops that were on display at Mackey Arena yesterday afternoon. First Braden Smith to Cam Heide then another to Myles Colvin. They were almost identical, but personally, I am getting used to seeing Purdue have at least one of these per game with Braden Smith leading the offense.
