Hammer and Rails Fan Survey Results – Confidence is Plummeting

Things are looking bleak.

Results for the week are in and let me just say, I expected things to be bad but I’m not sure I expected them to be this bad. The first question I asked this week was about your projected win totals for this team. Just for comparison sake, prior to the season I asked a similar question about over/under wins. I set the line at 3.5. 84% of respondents said they thought Purdue would go over 3.5 wins on the season. With that fresh in your mind, let’s take a look at this week’s results.

The over 3.5 games is now down to just 9%. The most popular answer for projected win total is two. Purdue not winning another game is a close second at 33%. Yikes.

Next, I wanted to see if anyone out there, besides Drew, thinks that Purdue can find a way to win this game against Nebraska today.

Just 8% of fans think Purdue pulls off the upset today. Some quick math here means that 92% of Purdue fans are expecting a loss. Hello darkness my old friend.
