The results are in for this week’s reader survey and we’ve got one serious question this week and one that’s just for fun. Let’s do the more serious one first.

A whopping 97% of readers either aren’t concerned with the early season losses for Purdue basketball or believe that in the end Coach Painter and his staff will be able to fix things. That’s a much more measured response than I thought I would get. Of course, the choices weren’t exactly tailored to a little bit of panic as the remaining option was fire everyone. So maybe that’s on me. If we do a question like this in the future I’ll fine tune the choices a bit better.

Up next, is a question about America’s favorite bowl game. The Pop-Tarts bowl. You may have seen that they created a trophy that can also be used as a toaster for what else but Pop-Tarts. So, which flavor would you christen this thing with?

Brown Sugar Cinnamon is the runaway winner here and that’s not too surprising given that it’s likely the most popular Pop-Tart. Surprised that S’Mores came in at the bottom of the list but that’s my bias showing.
