Fans were optimistic about Purdue’s two games this past week.
Despite putting out the survey a little late this week we still got some good results. First off I wanted to know what you all thought Purdue’s record would be in their two games. First, Purdue headed to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes and then Purdue returned home to Mackey Arena to take on the USC Trojans.

An amazing 98% of you got this one right on the nose. Again, this was posted late so the outcome of the Iowa game was already known and the game against USC wasn’t as much of a challenge so I shouldn’t be surprised that most fans thought Purdue would win.
Next though was the one I found more interesting. Purdue’s remaining schedule is replete with tough road games. To finish off the season Purdue still has to go to Michigan, Michigan State, IU, and Illinois. That’s a tough remaining four road games especially when you consider that Purdue only has seven total games remaining. No layups on the road. So, which one do you readers think will be the toughest? Let’s go to the results!

Michigan State was the overwhelming winner here with 65% of the vote. Illinois next with 18% and I think part of that might be because Illinois is the game that ends the season and so not only will it be a tough opponent, but it’s also at a crucial time with a Big Ten title possibly on the line. IU and Michigan bring up the rear. I’m sure the 20+ point victory over Michigan is clouding folks minds on that one but I wouldn’t be so comfortable heading into Ann Arbor.
