Results are out early due to the holiday.
Results for the weekly survey are out early this week due to the holiday. Everyone us slamming their laptops shut until December, but not us. Not Hammer and Rails. We’ve got basketball and football games to cover, but before that we’ve got fan survey results to get out to you. Democracy, after all, must be respected. And so, here are the results for this week’s questions.
This week’s first question was stolen from our very won Kyle Holderfield. He posted this one on Twitter and I thought it was worth asking our readers what they thought.
An amazing 42% would take another year of Ryan Walters as the head coach if it meant Purdue beat IU this weekend and, theoretically, took them out of the CFP. It would be the only good thing to come out of this season for many.
Next, it’s time to take a look at who thinks Purdue can win against IU. In recent weeks, Purdue fans have only had faith in the single digits when it comes to the outcome of the weekend’s games. Will it be different this weekend?
Sadly no, results are not different and for good reason. Just 8% of Purdue fans believe that Purdue will ultimately come out victorious against the Hoosiers. That matches what Purdue fans thought would be the outcome for earlier games against the likes of Penn State, Oregon, and Ohio State. Speaks volumes of both where Purdue fans view the program and where IU finds themselves this season.
