Who will take the starting spot from the injured Daniel Jacobsen?
Last season Purdue had the same starting lineup for every single game. Now, Purdue is heading into the third game of the season and will obviously have to trot out a new starting lineup. Daniel Jacobsen, who had been starting at the 5, is out for (likely) the remainder of the season and so will have to be replaced. As of this writing there is no indication who that will be. My best guess would be Will Berg, but I guess we will see here shortly.
Who: #14 Purdue (2-0) vs. Yale (1-1)
When: 8:00 p.m. ET
Where: West Lafayette – Mackey Arena – Capacity 14,876
TV: BTN (Kevin Kugler, Robbie Hummel)
Purdue Radio: Purdue Global Radio Network (Rob Blackman, Bobby Riddell)
This is another game that Purdue really should walk away with. They already played the game against Northern Kentucky without Jacobsen so it should not be a huge shock to their system, but it certainly will be a different team than Matt Painter thought he would have. Now, who steps up in Jacobsen’s place? Also, will the turnover numbers continue to go down?
