Wanna watch? It’s gonna cost you.
Purdue men’s basketball plays in their second, and final, exhibition of the season tonight. This one of course will be played in the friendly confines of Mackey Arena. Our man Jed will be in attendance tonight on press row to see the new look Boilermakers in person for the first time this season. Be on the lookout for his post-game article later on tonight.
Purdue takes on the Grand Valley State, checks Google, Lakers. They’ve played two exhibitions already this season losing to Toledo 76-71 and being Husked by Nebraska 73-53. What I’m saying is, the level of competition against Grand Valley State will be much lower than it was against the Creighton Blue Jays last week. This should offer the young players a good chance to play and see what they are made of. Purdue has a lot of tough games on the schedule this season and I’d like to have the young guys get as many minutes as possible early on so they can be ready when their numbers are called later on.
You might be asking yourself, is this game available on TV? To that, I’ll ask you a question right back. What do you consider TV? Because this game will only be televised on BTN+ the conference’s online streaming service that yes is an extra fee. Now, you can get the game on the app or on your tablet or phone and then stream it to your TV, but is that really available on TV? That’s for you to decide. I shared a code a few months back to get a free year of BTN+ and I hope you took advantage.
