Game two kicks off tonight.
Game two for Purdue basketball tips off this evening as the Norse from Northern Kentucky make their way up to West Lafayette and Mackey Arena tonight at 7:00 PM.
Purdue had a few speed bumps in game one against Texas A&M CC but Northern Kentucky, to be quite frank, is not as good as Texas A&M CC. I’d expect Purdue to be able to cruise to victory in this one. There are still plenty of question marks about this Purdue team and tonight will give us another example of what we can expect going forward. Here are some things I’m hoping to get figured out.
Does Matt Painter stick with the same starting 5 or has Colvin done enough to supplant someone?
How are the 40 minutes at the 5 going to be shared? It would be great for Purdue if someone could take a huge lead forward and become the sure fire starter, but I just don’t know if that’s something we can expect this season.
When will Braden Smith get that triple double that he’s so obviously going to get this season? Will it be tonight?
