The Boilermakers travel to Alabama for a big non-conference game.
For the second time this season the Purdue men’s basketball team will face the #2 team in the nation, weirdly enough both team’s are from the same state. After taking down then #2 Alabama earlier in the year, Purdue will travel to Alabama to take on the Tigers of Auburn in a neutral site game that’s a neutral site game like games in Indianapolis are neutral site games for Purdue.
Who: #16 Purdue (8-3) vs. #2 Auburn (10-1)
When: 4:30 p.m.
Where: Birmingham, Alabana – Legacy Arena (Capacity – 17,654)
TV: ESPN (Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas)
Radio: Purdue Global Radio Network (Rob Blackman, Bobby Riddell)
This will be one of the rare times that Purdue will be on ESPN this basketball season given the recent Big Ten media rights contracts that cut ESPN out of the loop. I haven’t been able to hear that Bilas thinks of Purdue this season so I’m fascinated to hear his opinion and yes I’m serious. I always enjoy hearing what other commentators have to say about our Boilermakers.
So join us here as we watch our Boilermakers face yet another tough non-conference opponent.
