Can the Boilermakers win another Big Ten road game?
Get finished with dinner early tonight folks because tonight’s Big Ten showdown against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights starts at 6:00 PM. There’s some good things about that. First, there’s no chance there will be a game on earlier that will push back viewing of the Purdue game as has happened two of the last three games. Second, once 8:00 hits the game will (hopefully) be over and you will have plenty of time to hang out with your loved ones. Or get stuff done around the house. The bad? If you’ve got a young child, like I do, it means this will likely occur right during peak night play time and bath/bed time. So figure that out folks.
Who: #20 Purdue (11-4, 3-1) vs. Rutgers (8-7, 1-3)
When: 6 p.m. ET
Where: Piscataway, New Jersey – Jersey Mike’s Arena – Capacity – 8,000
TV: FS1 (Alex Faust, Bill Raftery)
Radio: Purdue Global Radio Network (Rob Blackman, Bobby Riddell)
This one should be a good test for the Boilermakers as despite the 8-7 record and 1-3 in conference play, Rutgers has some VERY good players on this squad. This Rutgers squad is basically Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey, and everyone else. If Purdue can slow one of those two down, a tall task to be sure, it will make things a lot easier. It’s going to be a fun one to watch tonight so join us here to talk all about it.
