Purdue returns home to Mackey Arena.
Purdue returns home from visiting the east coast on a brief stop to face the Cornhuskers from Nebraska before traveling out west to face both Washington and Oregon. Purdue handled their business against Rutgers thanks to great games from Caleb Furst and Braden Smith. Who will step up in this one as Purdue faces a Nebraska team that is coming off a loss to Iowa. Their other Big Ten loss was against Michigan State who currently is undefeated in conference play. They did take down UCLA and IU, both at home, to make it 2-2 overall in Big Ten play.
This is another game that Purdue should win and will need to win if they hope to keep pace with Michigan State and Michigan who are currently atop the Big Ten standings each at 4-0. They will eventually lose, but Purdue needs to win this type of game, especially since this one is at home, in order to have a shot at winning the conference down the line.
