Purdue needs to get back on track.
Purdue and UCLA sit tied with Maryland for fourth place in the Big Ten standings. The top four finishers in conference play get the double bye in the conference tournament. That means extra rest which is always helpful. UCLA was the first team to play a game in Mackey Arena back in 1967, I mistakenly said 1969 on the Old Gold Show, and this will be their first return trip since then. Pretty cool. I’ll be in attendance at this one tomorrow and I hope that UCLA and Purdue both wear the uniforms they wore in that first game just for a little extra touch of history.
