The Boilers face their first road test of the season against a familiar foe.
It’s a late Tuesday night tipoff for Purdue basketball and all of their fans as our beloved Boilermakers head up to Milwaukee to face the Warriors Hilltoppers Golden Eagles of Marquette. Milwaukee of course always makes me think of this:
I once went to a conference in Milwaukee and a presenter asked if anyone knew what Milwaukee meant and I said this to my table almost verbatim and everyone looked at me like a weirdo. Well, who’s laughing now!
But anyway, if you haven’t already, head over here to read Drew’s excellent preview of Marquette and Jed’s keys to the game. This one is going to be tough and an excellent test for the Boilermakers. You’ve gotta respect the way Purdue handles their out of conference schedule as the Boilermakers will have faced two top 15 teams in their first five games. I’d put that schedule up against just about anyone in the country at this point of the season.
