Purdue opens Big Ten play on the road.
Purdue men’s basketball kicks off their Big Ten season tonight as they head to State College to take on the Nittany Lions. As the Big Ten has started conference play this week we’ve already seen some upsets, with unranked Michigan taking down #11 Wisconsin, as well as some expected results like Michigan State taking down Minnesota. Now, it will be Purdue’s chance as believe it or not they are a slight underdog heading into this one. I know, I was shocked too. The sports books are paying out plus money on the Purdue moneyline. I don’t quite understand it, so exploit it if you can I guess!
Purdue has had trouble recently in getting these first Big Ten games as victories but they’ve also had some fairly tough opponents. Does Penn State fit that bill? I guess we will have to see.
Who: #8 Purdue (7-1, 0-0) vs. Penn State (7-1, 0-0)
When: 6:30 p.m.
Where: State College, PA – Bryce Jordan Center (Capacity 15,261)
TV: FS1 (Jeff Levering, Laphonso Ellis)
Radio: Purdue Global Radio Network (Rob Blackman, Bobby Riddell)
The Boilermakers will tipoff in just under an hour so join us here. Also, don’t forget that the volleyball teams kicks off their post-season run unfortunately also at 6:30. You can find that match on ESPN+ as the Boilermakers take on first round opponent Western Michigan. Feel free to chat about both games in this thread.
