Offensive Player to Watch:
Uh, where do I begin? Everyone? The Ducks are absolutely loaded on the offensive side of the ball.
After a standout Junior Year at Oklahoma, Nike NIL money lured Dillon Gabriel to Oregon where he has dominated this season and is one of the Heisman Favorites.
Jordan James, the running back for the Ducks has been a touchdown machine. On the season he has 6 total touchdowns rushing and has averaged over 110 yards rushing per game.
Gabriel’s top target on offense is Tez Johnson, who is a threat to score on every single passing play. He has over 3,000 career yards and 23 touchdowns.
Defensive Player to Watch:
Jordan Burch is the man upfront that Purdue will have to double team and have the running backs help with. At 6-6, 270 pounds the defensive end is a load and has a surefire chance at making it big in the NFL at some point.
He started his career at USCe before transferring to Oregon last season. Since then he has nearly racked up ten sacks in two seasons and continues to get better.
Safety Bryce Boettcher leads the team in tackles with 33 and also has an interception to go with it. Boettcher is listed as a DB, but is more of a linebacker in their 4-2-5 scheme.
Way Too Early Prediction:
