A Purdue football radio analyst has decided that it’s time to hang it up.
Pete Quinn, who has been in the role since the early 90s, will step down after this upcoming football season comes to an end.
“It’s time,” Quinn said, via Tom Dienhart. “It’s 32 years. I turned 65 in January.”

Quinn has been with the Purdue football program since the late 70s before he became a radio analyst. He played for the program as an offensive lineman from 1978-81 and was a team captain for two of those seasons.
He was then inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame back in 2016 alongside former head coach Jim Young.
Hopefully, he’ll get to see the Boilermakers have one heck of a season in his final year as a broadcaster. They finished the 2022 season with an 8-6 record after losing in the Citrus Bowl.
