The Purdue-Virginia Tech game has been delayed for over three hours because of severe weather but that’s going to change soon.
Per Brett McMurphy, the contest is set to resume at 6:15 p.m. ET.

Virginia Tech then confirmed the news and also added that gates to Lane Stadium will open at 5:15 p.m. ET and that the game will be televised on ACC Network Extra.

It’s tremendous news for both programs since they likely didn’t want this game to be postponed. Had that decision been made, both schools would’ve potentially needed to sacrifice their “open” week on Oct. 21.
When the game resumes, Purdue will have third and seven from its own territory and will be up 7-0. The Boilermakers scored on their opening possession before forcing the Hokies to punt the ball back.
Let’s see how the rest of the game goes once it resumes.
