Our corn is better?
In the last matchup against Nebraska, Purdue fell 31 to 14, in what was a frustrating game days before the Halloween holiday.
Now, both coaches look to build on what they started last year during their first season at their respective schools. Matt Rhule finished 5-7 last season and wants to improve, just like Coach Walters does at Purdue.
Dylan Raiola will lead the charge as a true freshman for the Cornhuskers, the top quarterback of the 2024 Class. It may be a tall task for the 18-year-old quarterback, but Rhule recruited talented wide receivers, Jahamal Banks (Wake Forest) and Isaiah Neyor (Texas) out of the transfer Portal.
Both wide receivers are 6-4, 210 pounds, providing Raiola with big wide receivers on the perimeter.
The defense will be lead and plugged in the middle with big nose tackle, Nash Hutmacher, who is headed into his 5th year in Lincoln. At 6-4, 330 pounds, he is a load to handle for any center in the league, Gus Hartwig will have his hands full but is more than capable of winning the battle.
Way too early prediction:
Purdue 24
Nebraska 17
