Purdue Apparel Now Available Through Streaker Sports

They were nice enough to share some new pieces with me.

A little over a week ago the folks at Streaker Sports reached out to me to see if I’d be willing to help them promote their new collaboration with Purdue. I’m always ready to do anything to promote Purdue and to put cool new products in front of my fellow Boilermakers. So I said of course. They sent me a few items for me and my family which I just received today.

Here’s a look at their collection:

This is a Peanuts branded collection as you can see. To me the best part about this collection is the variety of short sleeved, long sleeved, and sweatshirt. I grabbed the Snoopy basketball hoodie, the script Purdue band t-shirt for my wife, the Purdue basketball long sleeve, and a Snoopy basketball youth small for my son.

I’ll say a couple things about these items, they run true to size. I got size small for both the long sleeve and the sweatshirt and they fit comfortably on me a 5’6 male who runs every day. The quality of the long sleeve shirt and the sweatshirt felt pretty good on initial try-on. The inside of the sweatshirt was quite soft and will do a good job keeping me warm on these colder Maryland nights.

You may be asking yourself, why Snoopy? Why Peanuts? Well, NPR, the source I get all my youth news from, says that Gen Z loves Snoopy. Honestly, Peanuts and Snoopy remain one of the enduring cultural touchstones in our country. So, as you fire up the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown or a Charlie Brown Christmas, or to a lesser extent A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, in the coming weeks be sure you’re rocking a Streaker Sports Purdue shirt to impress all your friends, including your cool nieces/nephews/children/grandchildren.
