This past season, Purdue played #2 Alabama at Mackey Arena, where the Boilermakers on a heater put on by CJ Cox came out on top 87 to 78. The season before, Purdue beat Alabama in Toronto, a homecoming of sorts for Zach Edey.
Purdue is now 4-2 against the Tide all time, with their last loss coming in 2011, when Alabama beat Purdue in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
This is just the start of what will be, without a doubt, a gauntlet of a non-conference schedule again for Purdue, who should be a Top five team when the season tips.
