Braden Smith broke Bruce Parkinson’s career assist record of 690 with an assist leading to a Myles Colvin basket at the 11 minute mark of the first half.
Smith, with his place in Purdue basketball history secured, will now look to establish his place in Big 10 and NCAA history.
