Despite going 2-0 this week, no change for the Boilermakers.
You would think going 2-0 in conference play, including one on the road (yes I know Minnesota isn’t very good), would be enough to move Purdue up at least one spot in the latest AP Top 25, but that is not the case as the Boilermakers remained in 20th spot with this week’s AP poll.

Interesting choice for sure but hey I’m not an AP voter so I guess I can’t say for sure what went through their minds on this one. This is especially strange after Purdue absolutely dominated a Northwestern team at home on Sunday afternoon. Oh well. Let’s take a look at the rest of Purdue’s opponents to see where they landed this week.
#2 Auburn – Defeated Purdue 87-69 on December 21st (neutral site).
#5 Alabama – Purdue defeated the Crimson Tide 87-78 on November 15 at Mackey.
#7 Marquette – Defeated Purdue 76-58 on November 19 at Marquette.
#10 Texas A&M – Defeated Purdue 70-66 on December 14th (neutral site).
#13 Illinois – Purdue finishes the regular season on March 7th at Illinois.
#15 Oregon – Purdue and Oregon will play at Oregon on January 18th.
#16 Michigan State – Purdue heads to Michigan State on February 18th.
#22 UCLA – Purdue and UCLA will face off February 28th in Mackey Arena.
