Purdue Boilers vs. Notre Dame: Injury Report

Although there are no starters listed as out versus the Irish, some notable names floated onto the out list released ahead of the game.

The Purdue Boilermakers announced that a number of players would be unavailable for the game today against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Although none of these players have originally been listed with the first team defense, a number of important players that provide high quality depth for the Boilers will be out. Linebackers Owen Davis and Winston Berglund, defensive lineman Joe Strickland, and cornerback Nyland Green on the defensive side while tight end George Burhenn and wide receiver CJ Smith will be out on the offensive side of the ball.

Although it does hurt some depth that Boilers have built in the second year under Head Coach Ryan Walters, Purdue comes into their game against the Irish relatively healthy with both side of the ball having their entire first team ready to play.
