It’s finally over.
Ledman:
There’s no good way to talk about this game without talking what an embarrassment this season has been for the fans. Yes, it’s tough to be a player on this team I have no doubt, but fans supported this program. Fans stepped up for this program. Fans did everything that was asked of them. Then, this happened. Purdue had just four first downs with nine minutes to go in the fourth quarter. That’s completely unacceptable and speaks to many problems with this program. The players are not being put into a position to succeed. I understand that Purdue doesn’t have the talent of an Ohio State, and Oregon, a Penn State, but you’re telling me that Purdue doesn’t have the players to even scrape together one drive that looks competent? The coaching staff just seems incredibly indecisive with all of the big decisions. Who is even calling the offense? I really don’t know.
If anyone in the Purdue athletic department was watching this game and came away thinking that this staff can be salvaged they should also be walked out the door on Sunday. There’s nothing to salvage here. Purdue is hemorrhaging recruits and I’m sure the transfer portal will be absolute bedlam for the Boilermakers as well. Any player worth their salt will have offers and chances for NIL money and they’d be fools not to take it. I wish them all the best.
I hope this was the last game we see Ryan Walters coach for Purdue. I can’t stomach much more.
Kyle:
Fire them all. There is no need to react to something I have become so accustomed to, I took IU -39.5 on Fanatics because it was the highest it would let me go.
Onto 2025 and HOPEFULLY a change of leadership.

As an alumni and former member of the AAMB, this is a time where it is embarrassing to call myself a fan of this football program. Getting beat by the two biggest rivals you have 66-7 and 66-0 is grounds for to be fired immediately. Ryan Walters now owns the two worst defeats in program history.
Ryan Walters should not be allowed to continue as head coach at Purdue University and that call should come sooner rather than later. Just an absolute embarrassment at all levels from a head coach who has shown zero ability to warrant a third season at the helm. If you don’t fire him because of this 1-11 season, there is no bottom to how far you will allow the program to fall. If you give him a third season after this one, then you might as well make a statement that the AD, Board of Trustees, and the President have decided that results do not matter.
I didn’t think I would ever see Darrel Hazel topped as the worst head coach in Purdue history in my life time. I saw it just 11 years later. Ryan Walters owns the worst season in Purdue football history and possible the worst this century for the B1G, so allow me to retract my original statement. I’m embarrassed for Ryan Walters and that he may have to show his face around campus again at some point.

The English language doesn’t have a word to sufficiently describe this game, or this season, but the Germans do…Totalausfall. Yes, that was as close to Totalausfall as you’re going to see in any facet of your life. If you’re ever feeling bad about things, just remember this game and know things could always be worse. I don’t know what else to say, that was bad football, played by a bad team, presided over by a bad coach, and I have no idea what happens moving forward with this program. Honestly, I’m more excited for the next few weeks than I was for any game over the last half of the season, and I really like football. The only positive about that game is I don’t have to watch another for a while.
Ryan:
We all know I’m a bears fan. They fired their head coach against all expectations. Can Purdue follow suit?? Please.
