Well, it actually CAN get worse.
Hudson Card is officially out this weekend as Purdue travels to Illinois.
Purdue QB Hudson Card will not play vs. Illinois w/upper body injury, sources told @ActionNetworkHQ. Card had started 16 games past 2 seasons for Purdue. W/out Card, redshirt freshman Ryan Browne in line to make his 1st career start

Expect the Boilers to turn to redshirt freshman, Ryan Browne to command the offense. Browne who is more of dual threat quarterback will make his second career start after starting at Northwestern late last season.
The Purdue offense continues to take hits during this season, injuries adding up, coaches being fired and its just overall a terrible 2024 season thus far. Maybe Browne can ignite the offense with his playmaking abilities.
