It’s like he never left.
Gone and back again, like he never left.
Fan favorite and ultimate competitor, Ryan Browne is making his way back to West Lafayette after a short Spring at UNC.

Heck, maybe he left for nicer weather.
Browne filled in for a hurt Hudson Card during the 2024 season, before heading back into the backup role for Card, something I personally didn’t agree with.
While he has so.w experience in the old gold and black, ultimately, he is still an inexperienced quarterback joining an inexperienced quarterback room.
In the era before the transfer portal, this was common place, where a multi year starter would leave and an inexperienced, but developed backup would slide right in, see the Tiller years.
But in this age in the P4 conferences, that ideology has become rare.
Presumably, Browne and Singleton will battle for the starting position this summer into the fall.
Welcome back, Ryan!
