How many streaming services will you need?
The Big Ten schools were able to announce the tip times and TV networks for the vast majority of their games this week and that means big news for Purdue basketball fans. I’m not going to leave you in suspense. Instead, I’ll just share the lovely graphic that Purdue Basketball put out on Twitter.
The full schedule is now out!

For those that are wondering about the new television contracts and how that will impact your viewing this year, let’s take a look at which networks/streaming services you’ll need to have in order to watch every Purdue basketball game.
- BTN+ – Three games – October 20th-November 23rd
- BTN
- Peacock – Seven games total (6 exclusively to Peacock) November 15th-March 4th
- Fox/FS1
- CBS
- NBC
That means, not counting the exhibition game that will be streamed for $10 by Nebraska Public Media, Purdue games will be on seven different networks/streaming services.
As noted by the dates on BTN+ and Peacock you’ll need to get multiple months of each service. For BTN+ you’ll need at least two months in order to watch all the games on the network. For Peacock, you’ll need to pay for three months of the service in order to see every Purdue game.
I know that can be frustrating, but it’s the modern reality of college sports. There are always deals on these services and should I hear about good ones I’ll try to share them on social media or in a story here.
One other thing that stands out is that for Purdue’s trip to Washington, the game tips at 9:30 PM Eastern. Oh boy, that’s gonna be a tough one to stay awake for.
We are just over two weeks away from Purdue basketball starting with an exhibition against Creighton. With the game times and networks now announced it feels more real than ever.
