For the second year in a row, Purdue will play an exhibition match for a charitable cause prior to the season.
Today, it has been announced that Purdue Men’s Basketball has added a charity exhibition match before the 2024-25 slate. The exhibition will take place in Omaha, Nebraska against Creighton on Saturday, October 26th and proceeds will go to United Way of the Midlands Disaster Relief Fund. This is the second straight year that Purdue will start off with a charitable exhibition as they played Arkansas at Walton Arena before last season began.
Starting the season for a good cause.

Last season, Creighton finished at #13 in the Final AP poll and lost to Tennessee in the Sweet Sixteen. Had the Blue Jays taken down the Volunteers, they would have faced Purdue in the Elite Eight.
