Nothing is final, there’s more work to be done.
The NCAA had their early bracket release this afternoon and to be expected, Purdue was among the top 16 seeds. The NCAA started doing this as a way to offer a look behind the selection process for March Madness. I’m sure their partners at CBS also might like it as a way to get some eyeballs on their screens prior to March. It’s just a sort of check in to see, if the season ended today, who the top 16 teams would be. Well, now we know.

Purdue winds up as the #2 seed in the Midwest bracket with Alabama as their one seed. Then there’s future Purdue opponent Iowa State as their #3 seed. Somehow, Kansas still remains in the top 16 despite having some real problems so far this season.
I think most Purdue fans would take this bracket. You know that the top 4 teams in each region are gonna be good so you can’t be intimidated by those big names. Purdue belongs among thee teams and will have a great opportunity once again this March.
