Purdue has lost three of four.
It’s been a slow fall in the AP poll over the last few weeks as Purdue men’s basketball has lost three of their last four. This includes their most recent game as the #2 Auburn Tigers took our beloved Boilermakers to the woodshed from first whistle to last. They went into last week as #16 but with only one game, a loss, Purdue was of course going to fall.

I was actually surprised that Purdue remained in the top 25 given the last four games. Two of them have not been close as Purdue was also blown out on the road at Penn State before the bench dragged Purdue back into that one causing the final score to be only an 11 point loss. The Auburn game had a similar result as Purdue found themselves down by 30+ before being able to bring it a little bit closer but still it was an ugly ugly game.
Purdue has just one non-conference game left in the season before the return of Big Ten season arrives in January.
