Who you taking?
It’s Friday night and I feel alright! Or do I? Do you? How do you feel about Oregon coming into West Lafayette to face the Boilermakers? I asked the staff for their predictions.
Ledman (6-0):
Seeing as how I’m officially bowl eligible I’m now trying to stay in contention for one of the playoff spots. You’ve gotta just focus on the game in front of you. That’s something that I hope Oregon is not able to do. They’re coming off a huge win last week against Ohio State in a primetime (and beyond) matchup that was thrilling from start to finish. Could this week be a letdown week?
Oregon has more talent on both sides of the ball, if they don’t spit on you, and will obviously be the heavy favorite tonight. I would love to see the new look Purdue offense make a difference and see some defenders step up but I just don’t have the confidence that they can get the job done. Oregon is much better than Illinois and I think the score will reflect that.

Kyle (5-1):
Purdue found some lightning in a bottle last week at Illinois with the playcalling of Ryan Walters and QB play of Ryan Browne.
Illinois is a far cry from Oregon, and I believe the Oregon Offense can name the amount of points they want to score, with that being said, maybe the Purdue offense can keep momentum going and score some points to make it respectable.
Purdue is allowing 39 PPG on defense, good for dead last in the big ten and I think it reaches to over 40 PPG after this game.

Ryan (6-0):
The #2 team in the country is coming in to Ross Ade for a night game, you say? It is spooky season indeed. Purdue will need some real black and gold magic to take down the Ducks. Maybe Ryan Browne is a wizard? Likely not.
