We also recorded this yesterday shortly after Braden Smith announced that he was returning to Purdue for his senior season. There was a lot of noise on the internet about Kentucky and Kansas being heavily involved in this. There’s no real way for us to know how much truth there was to these rumors, but it makes sense that every team in the country would want Braden Smith on their team. Instead, Purdue gets a return announcement from the best point guard in the country, and that’s the greatest transfer portal news you’ll likely ever see.
