Mucho mucho joy.
Casey and I got together last night for another episode of The Old Gold Show. On this one we discuss Purdue’s four game losing streak and how they got here. We talk about the stalled offense, the problems on defense, and the quirks of the Big Ten schedule that maybe made us think Purdue was better than they are. But, as it’s Casey and me we get sidetracked and talk about a number of other important issues. For instance, where do you rank Wendy’s in terms of fast food chains? What about Taco Bell? And, has this Purdue team lost their joy?
Basketball is a game. It’s meant to be fun. Sure, these guys make good money now, but they should still enjoy the game and it doesn’t really look like they’ve been having much fun lately. Casey and I discuss this and take a look at Purdue’s final three games. Plus, I ask Casey what the floor and ceiling for this team are come NCAA Tournament time.
