Plus, Casey helps me break down the Big Ten race.
The last time Casey and I talked Michigan State hadn’t lost a Big Ten game and they sat at 9-0 in the conference. Purdue of course had their same two losses but it’s tough to gain ground when your opponent never loses. Well, a lot has changed since then. Michigan State went out West and came back with a pair of losses. Does that make Purdue the Big Ten favorite now? Casey doesn’t necessarily think so and I make him defend his choice on today’s episode of The Old Gold Show.
Also on this episode, we discuss the return game against Michigan as Purdue heads to Ann Arbor. This is a rematch of a game that Purdue won by 27 earlier in the year. Other than the location of the game, has that much changed between these two teams to make this one a close game? Purdue seems to be playing just as well if not better. Casey also goes on a rant about the fact that Michigan, a top 25 ranked team in the heat of the Big Ten race, can’t seem to sell out their arena.
We also go over the Indiana basketball news which was a bit of a fun distraction. Join us won’t you?
