Perhaps he can meet up with Ted Lasso.
With two former Boilermakers off the board, out of the portal, and headed to their new teams, it left just Will Berg and Brian Waddell still out there. Well, now it’s just Waddell as Will Berg has found a new home as announced this evening.
Together with William Berg, we are excited to announce his commitment to Wichita State. #WEAVE pic.twitter.com/NLwup9372j

Berg will head to the state of Kansas to join the Shockers of Witchita State. This is the same Witchita State that produced former AFC Richmond head coach Ted Lasso and Coach Beard. Touches earpieces I’m being told they are not in fact real people. Oh well.
However, Berg will walk into a locker room that saw them finish with a 19-15 record and a 8th place finish in the American Conference. Witchita State had just one player above 6’9” on the roster so Berg will have an opportunity to make a difference very early. Though it didn’t work out for Berg at Purdue we wish him nothing but the best at his new home.
