With the Indianapolis Colts now officially out of playoff contention following last week’s “embarrassing” performance against the New York Giants, let’s take a look ahead to the 2025 NFL draft and where they are currently selecting.
The Colts will go into the 2025 draft with seven selections at the moment, one in each round. Of course, there’s obviously a lot that can change between now and then when it comes to both team needs–depending on how free agency unfolds–and where prospects land on each teams’ big board as the pre-draft process unfolds in the coming months.
But with that said, some current team needs–in no particular order-include linebacker, tight end, cornerback, safety, running back, and defensive tackle depth.
At 7-9 on the season, a win against Jacksonville in Week 18 could see the Colts stay put at their current draft slot or even drop a few selections. A loss, however, and they could move up a spot or two depending on what else happens around the NFL.
