The Indianapolis Colts have moved on from defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, but otherwise, with GM Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen sticking around for 2025, the status quo will largely remain the same.
So what do the Colts have to do this offseason in order to get over that dreaded playoff hump?
While the same familiar approach has often been utilized under Ballard, it’s clearly not working with the Colts having now missed the playoffs four straight years, with three of those seasons coming to an end in a particularly devastating fashion, and they haven’t won an AFC South title during Ballard’s tenure.
If there’s going to be any hope for 2025, the approach during the offseason has to change. Here is a look at what should be on Ballard’s to-do list over the next several months in an effort to better position the Colts to have a chance at the playoffs and a division title.
