During general manager Chris Ballard’s season-ending press conference, he admitted that his roster building approach in 2024 was a “mistake.” The mistake, specifically, was running it back after missing the postseason in 2023.
“Right now, we’re not close,” Ballard said. “I want to make that clear. Being close is losing on the last play of the of the Super Bowl. Going 8-9 is not close.”
