Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has not played in nearly a month due to a thumb injury.
Heading into a critical Week 16 though, the Pro Bowl ball carrier is trending in the right direction. Taylor was listed as a projected full participant on Wednesday’s official practice report.
The Colts held a walk-through but Taylor’s full participant designation is a good sign for him practicing tomorrow.

Zack Moss, Taylor’s backup, was estimated as a non-participant today. Moss injured his elbow in Indianapolis’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Saturday.
In seven games this season, Taylor has rushed for 414 yards and four touchdowns on 100 carries. He gained 91 yards and scored two touchdowns on the ground in his last appearance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov. 26.
The Colts (8-6) are currently in possession of the final Wild Card spot in the AFC heading into Sunday’s game against the 6-8 Atlanta Falcons.
Indianapolis closes out its season against the Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders and Houston Texans.
