The last road game of the season finds the Colts with a good chance at a win.
The Indianapolis Colts have one final road game on the docket as they travel to take on the New York Giants. It will be their second time at MetLife Stadium this season. The first visit was fantastic, and they are hoping for more of the same against a severely struggling Giants squad. FanDuel Sportsbook is giving the Colts a massive edge in this one coming in at 7.5-points. Not sure if that says as much about the Colts as it does the Giants, but the Colts will run with it.
The money line starts at -450 while the over/under sits at 40.5.
Although the final score didn’t reflect it, the Colts manhandled the Titans at home. Jonathan Taylor took the Broncos fumble to heart and took it out on the opponent. Racking up 218 yards on the back of 65 and 70-yard touchdown attacks was more than enough to put the game out of reach. The Titans scored 23 unanswered, but that was after the Colts broke it open at 38-7. Anthony Richardson had a decent day but only had to throw eleven times. He continued the theme of making the Titans pay on the ground by tacking on 70-yards of his own.
The Giants season has been over for some time, but unfortunately they still have to play the remainder of the season. After starting out 7-0 on a Drew Lock touchdown pass, the next 34-points went to the Falcons. Michael Penix Jr.’s debut was mixed, but he got tons of help. Two defensive scores and solid running from Bijan Robinson was enough to completely crush the Giants. After moving on from Daniel Jones and falling to 2-13, the Giants are looking for some serious answers.
The Colts want to keep stacking wins, and the Giants are the perfect team to keep the good times rolling. If the running game looks anything like it did on Sunday, expect an early afternoon exit by the home fans and a lopsided score. The two headed running monster we saw against the Titans is exactly what the Colts envisioned. Let’s hope to see more of it this week and next season as well.
