INDIANAPOLIS – When the Indianapolis Colts take the field against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, they’ll wear their “Indiana Nights” uniforms.
The alternative uniforms feature a heather blue jersey and pants, black helmets with a blue horseshoe and stripe, white numbering and horizontal shoulder stripes.
The team first donned the Indiana Nights uniforms last season against the Cleveland Browns during their Oct. 22, 2023, matchup. This is the second time they’ve worn them during a game.
To celebrate the theme, the AES Building, Indianapolis Artsgarden, Indianapolis International Airport, Monument Circle will light up the sky with Colts blue leading up the game on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The “Indiana Nights” theme won’ stop there.
On gameday, the first 20,000 fans in attendance will get “Indiana Nights”-themed playing cards. Concession stands will sell themed cups, and the Colts Cheerleaders will don their own “Indiana Nights” uniform. Moon Drops Distillery also created a special themed bourbon and vodka.
Actor, comedian and Indy native Mike Epps will strike the Anvil before this week’s game. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium. The game airs on FOX59.
