INDIANAPOLIS – Jaylon Jones’ growth is producing results, on and off the field.
The Indianapolis Colts’ second-year cornerback has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after grabbing his first two career interceptions in last Sunday’s 21-16 win over the Chicago Bears.
Jones, a 2023 seventh-round draft pick, added one tackle for loss and two passes defensed in what represented a breakout game.
He has appeared in all 20 games with 13 starts.
Jones was the first Colt to notch two interceptions in a game since Kenny Moore II in Week 9 last season at Carolina.
