INDIANAPOLIS – Jonathan Taylor’s big day didn’t go unnoticed.
The Indianapolis Colts’ standout running back has been selected AFC Offensive Player of the Week after his dominant performance in Sunday’s 38-30 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Taylor rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on 29 attempts. He broke through the Titans’ defense for 65- and 70-yard TDs. He joined Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley as the only players in the league this season to eclipse the 200-yard mark and register two 60-plus-yard TDs in the same game.
The 218 yards were the third-most in franchise history, trailing only Taylor’s club-record 253 against Jacksonville as a rookie in 2020 and Edgerrin James’ 219 at Seattle in 2000.
Taylor is the first Colt to win the weekly offensive award since he was recognized week 10 of 2022. Cornerback Jaylon Jones was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week in week 3 while punter Rigoberto Sanchez was cited for special teams in week 6.
Roster move
The Colts signed guard Mark Glowinski to the active roster from the practice squad. He has started the last three games at right guard after being signed to the practice squad Nov. 21.
