The NFL will again be returning to Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2025 with the Los Angeles Chargers as the designated home team. The Chargers’ opponent is still not known, but it is unlikely to be the Indianapolis Colts.

The Chargers are on the Colts’ 2025 schedule, and Los Angeles is the home team for that matchup. So, the recipe for the Colts to travel to Brazil to face the Chargers does exist.
However, it is unlikely as well. The reason for that is that the Colts will already be traveling internationally once in 2025 and I would guess that the likelihood of having to make two separate trips in one season is not likely.
It was announced in January that the Colts will be the designated home team for the NFL’s first ever game in Berlin, Germany.
“The Colts are proud to be part of this landmark event in one of the world’s most historic cities,” Colts Owner & CEO Jim Irsay said via the team site.
Last season, we did see the Jacksonville Jaguars play back-to-back weeks in London. But that is quite different than making a Week 1 trip to Brazil followed by a trip to Germany later in the season.
At this time, we do not know what week the Colts will be traveling to Germany or who their opponent will be. That will be announced later in the offseason.
