The Colts will be selecting near midway through the first round in the 2025 NFL Draft—after finishing 8-9 on year.
The Indianapolis Colts (8-9) now know where they’ll be selecting in late April’s 2025 NFL Draft, as the selection order has been set among non-playoff teams—with the Horseshoe currently picking #14th overall when they’re scheduled to begin their draft clock:

1) Titans
2) Browns
3) Giants
4) Patriots
5) Jaguars
6) Raiders
7) Jets
8) Panthers
9) Saints
10) Bears
11) 49ers
12) Cowboys
13) Dolphins
14) Colts

Obviously, with team owner Jim Irsay’s recent pledge that general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen will return, it’s a ‘make-or-break’ 2025 season for both top Colts leaders that will likely almost entirely rest on franchise quarterback hopeful Anthony Richardson’s continued improvement and overall success.
Not to mention, a bonafide playoff berth—which winning an AFC South title would be nice (and go a long way) for the first time in franchise history since 2014.
What that could mean come draft time is that the Colts may better prioritize selecting rookies that can help Richardson make another pro leap—whether that’s prized Penn State tight end Tyler Warren or another highly touted top offensive prospect.
The 2025 NFL Draft will be hosted in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at historic Lambeau Field, on April 24th-26th.
