The Colts have some recent injury updates set to kick off team training camp on Thursday.
The Indianapolis Colts announced on Wednesday that the team has placed cornerback Chris Lammons on Active/PUP List, with defensive tackle Raekwon Davis being added to the Active/Non-Football Illness to start training camp respectively.
Per Colts general manager Chris Ballard, Lammons is recovering from offseason surgery on his ankle that could keep him out the first weeks of team training camp. Meanwhile, Davis was one of the Colts big offseason free agent additions—along with veteran Joe Flacco.
Other recent Colts injury updates from Ballard:
- Defensive lineman Gerard Avery (knee) will likely be cleared for practices but may be eased back into early action.
- Cornerback JuJu Brents had minor ankle cleanup surgery after OTAs but is doing well yet may be limited in Colts camp early on.
- Wide receiver Ashton Dulin is still recovering from a season-ending ACL injury suffered during last year’s camp and is in good shape, but may be limited to begin current practices.
- Running back Tyler Goodson has a toe injury, and his ongoing status is to be determined.
- Right tackle Braden Smith (knee) is set to be cleared for practice but like Avery, may be eased into initial action.
