The Colts had two standouts earn NFL 2nd-Team All-Pro honors after their individual 2024 seasons.
Both Indianapolis Colts starting left guard Quenton Nelson and linebacker Zaire Franklin were named NFL 2nd-Team All-Pros for the 2024 campaign:

For Nelson, it’s his 5x NFL All-Pro nod—having been a former NFL First-Team All-Pro (2018-20) and 2nd-Team All-Pro (2021, 2024).
While every other starting offensive lineman for the Colts missed time, Nelson continued to be its one catalyst, anchoring the interior in all 17 starts.
With a PFF run blocking grade of +81.3, Nelson helped pave the way for star workhorse Jonathan Taylor rushing for over 1,400 total rushing yards and 10+ touchdowns. In pass protection with a pass block grade of +79.7, he surrendered just 3.0 total sacks and 20 QB pressures during 608 total pass blocking snaps.
Meanwhile, Franklin led the league with 173 total tackles (93 solo). He also had 3.5 sacks, 6 passes defensed, 5 forced fumbles, 4 QB hits, and 2 interceptions during all 17 starts.
While Franklin endured a slow beginning to the 2024 regular, he finished much stronger than he started, playing more consistent football on a weekly basis down the final stretch.
In addition to his first career NFL Pro Bowl nod, this is the first All-Pro honor for Franklin after finishing this past season. It could be the first of a few more to come for the NFL’s 2024 combined tackles leader.
